Israel:  Support For The War On Iran?

A reader has suggested that Israel has— “A general policy of hegemony, which some Jews supported and many opposed.”

Philip O’Connor responds:

Are you sure you have not inverted the “some” and “many”?  I don’t know of a single official or semi-official Jewish organisation in the world that was not elated by the USrael [sic] onslaught on Iran.  Perhaps you can enlighten me?

Haaretz has published opinion polls showing 75% support among Israelis for the unprovoked full-scale criminal war on Iran, but when it broke this down between Israeli Jews and non-Jews, the support was 93% among the former, with only 3% against!!!

In the US, where the vast majority of the 8m Jews outside Israel live, and exercise astounding influence, no-one really questions the righteousness of the War.

The opposition in Congress is purely partisan, demanding that they should have to approve such wars and does not oppose the War per se.

This is all despite the vast majority of actual Americans being opposed to it.

I noticed a columnist in the respectable German left-wing newspaper TAZ (Tageszeitung, Berlin) urging the German Council of Jews to tone down their “jubilation” in the early days of USrael’s missile “strikes”.  Now, that is something really unprecedented . . .

NATO:  Double Standards!

“NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte said that 22 countries, including NATO members along with allies such as South Korea and Japan, are coordinating efforts to reopen navigation through the Strait of Hormuz.”

– Reuters.

Isn’t it ironic that this creature along with his fellow slithering-creatures are now so focused on ensuring the free movement of shipping through the Strait of Hormuz while at the same time doing all they can, short of an officially declared blockade, to prevent the free movement of shipping through the Baltic and the mediterranean of vessels they suspect of transporting Russian goods.
