| Iran: Prime Minister Starmer’s Words of Wisdom! The British Prime Minister, in the afternoon of February 2nd, made a statement about the attack on Iran by the Leader of the Free World and the Leader of the Jewish State that is aggressively colonising what remains of the territory allocated by the UN for a Palestinian State: “Earlier this morning the United States and Israel struck targets in Iran. Iran has since launched indiscriminate strikes across the region… The UK played no role in these strikes. But we have long been clear the regime in Iran is utterly abhorrent… I condemn Iran’s attacks today on partners across the region, many of which are not parties to this conflict… Our forces are active and British planes are in the sky today as part of co-ordinated regional defensive operation… It is vital that we prevent escalation… They should refrain from further strikes, give up their weapons programme and cease the appalling violence…” The US and Israel did not attack Iran, it only “struck” it! When Iran struck back, that was an “attack”. Iran should restore peace by surrendering! The “indiscriminate strikes” across the region were directed at American military bases across the region. Does Iran attack Dubai and infringe its sovereignty when it strikes at a military base in Dubai controlled by the Super-Power that is attacking it? Does the US have immunity from response when it attacks from a base leased to it by a neutral state? Brendan Clifford PS After 24 hours of humbug the British attempt to sit on the fence while describing the Iranian response to US/Israeli bombardment as an act of aggression has collapsed. Tony Blair, in his retirement address to his Party reminded it that Britain was by nature a War-Fighting State. Starmer was hoping to get in situ a War against Russia, but circumstances have obliged him to enter the War that is available—even thought it is the wrong War electorally. The two British Bases in Cyprus have been made available to the US. The BBC tries to spin the War on Iran as defensive. But the humbug is spoiled when the CNN describes it bluntly as “a war of choice”.
